La ville se situe à environ 10 km de České Budějovice et est célèbre principalement pour son beau château Néo-gothique et son grand parc à l'anglaise. Hluboká est entourée par de lacs et de forêts avec ses maisons de chasse. La ville est aussi devenue célèbre en accueillant des festivals et des expositions. Vous pouvez aussi apprécier des activités sportives comme le cheval ou le golf. La visite Hluboká ne vous décevra sûrement pas!

Vous pouvez prendre soit un bus soit un train de Prague à Hluboká, le trajet en bus étant plus rapide. Il existe plusieurs compagnies de bus avec une correspondance à České Budějovice. Vous pouvez prendre par exemple: ČSAD JIHOTRANS, STUDENT AGENCY, ČSAD AUTOBUSY ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE. Le voyage dure env. 3 heures.

Chateau Hluboká nad Vltavou

This romantic and beautiful chateau, originally a baroque castle, was rebuilt in the 18th century in a baroque style and then again in the 19th century in an english gothic style. Its interior offers 140 rich furnished rooms and 11 towers. The visitors can choose from a wide offer of guided tours, showing the most interesting parts of the castle. The chateau also became a popular place for weddings and fests.

Aleš South Bohemian Gallery

Aleš South bohemian Gallery exhibits a famous collection of Gothic art from South Bohemia together with an art collection of Czech and European 16th – 19th century, including the unique exposition of Dutch painting.

Ohrada Castle

Ohrada castle is located only 2 km from the town of Hluboká. It was built as a hunting castle. Its purpose was to host hunting fests and celebrations. Today´s woodcraft and hunting museum (one of the oldest in the world) exposes a collection of hunting trophies and animals.

ZOO

Zoo is the ideal place to visit for families with children. You can admire over 200 species of animals there, living mainly in Europe. Hluboká zoo also offers a unique programme for children. Due to its location near the castle Ohrada and by a pond , it is an ideal place for taking a walk as well.

Knížecí Dvůr Gallery

The art presentation of contemporary artists in the Knížecí Dvůr Art Gallery is a great benefit to Hluboka´s cultural life and attracts many visitors.
